Canine Conditioning

A slat mill is a non-motorized treadmill designed specifically for dogs. Powered entirely by your dog’s own movement, it allows for natural, self-paced running that encourages proper stride and muscle engagement. Unlike traditional treadmills, the slat mill responds to your dog’s energy, allowing them to control the pace, pause when needed, and develop their fitness safely and comfortably.

Loose Leash Pack-Walk Classes

Our Pack Walks are structured training walks. These walks are designed to reinforce leash manners, build focus around distractions, and strengthen handler engagement in a controlled environment. Dogs do not greet one another or other humans during these sessions. We actively discourage on-leash interactions with passersby and instead promote calm neutrality and polite behavior in public.

Walk locations change weekly and are typically within a 7-mile radius of the pet shop. We explore a variety of local environments to expose your dog to real-world distractions while maintaining structure and consistency throughout the walk.

Meet The Trainers

Sofia S. Trainer/Groomer

I’ve been a dog lover my entire life, and that passion has shaped everything I do as a dog trainer. Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of dogs, from rescues adjusting to their forever homes to aggressive or reactive dogs needing patient, thoughtful guidance. I understand that every dog has a unique personality and story, and I tailor my approach to meet each dog’s individual needs.

I also bring hands-on experience from owning my own reactive dog, which gives me a deep, personal understanding of the challenges and triumphs that come with working through behavioral issues. Beyond training, I have experience in dog grooming and an exceptional knowledge of pet products, allowing me to guide owners on tools, nutrition, and care that support their dog’s overall well-being.

Whether you’re looking to improve obedience, address behavioral challenges, or simply strengthen your bond, my goal is to help you and your dog communicate, thrive, and enjoy a happy, balanced life together.
